Honigman Welcomes Two Intellectual Property Partners
Honigman LLP is pleased to announce that Kristin L. Murphy and Kelley N. Goldberg have joined the firm as partners in its growing Intellectual Property department. Murphy is based in Honigman’s Bloomfield Hills office, and Goldberg is based in the firm’s Grand Rapids office.
Murphy focuses her practice on client counseling, patent portfolio management, and IP litigation for patents and trademarks. She is experienced serving clients in the automotive, medical device, and industrial manufacturing industries.
Bringing 20 years of IP experience, Murphy joins Honigman from Brooks Kushman. She also teaches Patent Litigation as an adjunct faculty member at Michigan State University College of Law.
Murphy earned both her LL.M. in Intellectual Property and her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. She earned her B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Western New England University, where she recently served as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Goldberg returns to Michigan after serving as senior counsel for Intel Corporation in California. She focuses her practice on managing trademark, copyright, rights of publicity, and advertising matters for international technology, entertainment, gaming and hospitality companies.
Before Intel, Goldberg practiced in Las Vegas at Greenburg Traurig, and also at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where she led the Trademark, Copyright and Licensing Group. In Las Vegas, Goldberg served on numerous boards, including the board of directors for The Neon Museum, and the future Las Vegas Museum of Modern Art.
Goldberg earned her J.D. from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Kalamazoo College.
