Honigman adds two associates to its roster in Chicago
Alexandros Stamatoglou and Sarah A. Robison have joined Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP as associates in the firm’s Chicago office. Since opening a Chicago office in 2015, the AmLaw 200 firm, Honigman, has increased its roster of attorneys by more than 40 percent.
Stamatoglou, a member of Honigman’s Complex Commercial Litigation Practice Group, focuses his practice on commercial litigation in both federal and state courts. He has litigated matters involving the False Claims Act, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and various other torts arising within the business context. Stamatoglou is also experienced in litigating employment disputes alleging trade secret misappropriation, breach of non-compete agreements, and discrimination and retaliation under Title VII. He served as a judicial clerk for two years in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, first for Judge Charles P. Kocoras and then for Judge Philip G. Reinhard. Stamatoglou is licensed to practice in Illinois. He joins Honigman from the Chicago office of Nixon Peabody LLP.
He earned a J.D., summa cum laude, from The John Marshall Law School, where he was class Valedictorian and staff editor of The John Marshall Law Review. He received a B.A. in political science and economics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Robison, a member of Honigman’s Business Immigration Practice Group, assists clients with business immigration matters. Her practice focuses on a wide variety of industries, including automotive, engineering, financial services, academic institutions and information technology. Robison also advises clients on the immigration consequences of changes in the corporate organizational structure, including mergers or acquisitions. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and Minnesota.
Robison comes to Honigman from the Chicago office of Miller Canfield.
She earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota’s College of Liberal Arts.
