Honigman adds a partner to its Corporate Department

Michael E. Morden has joined Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP as a partner in the Trusts and Estates Group of the Corporate Department. He will be located in the firm’s Bloomfield office and will maintain a presence in the firm’s Chicago office.

Morden concentrates his practice on trust and estate planning, administration and dispute resolution. He counsels clients on wealth preservation, succession planning, tax and reporting obligations, and advises on all aspects of trust and estate planning. Morden is a former adjunct professor in estate planning at the Northwestern University School of Law and comes to Honigman from Dentons US LLP. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and is expecting admission to Michigan.

Morden earned a LL.M. in taxation from the New York University School of Law. He received a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. And he graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English and a B.A. in film and video studies.
