Honigman Adds Partner for New Grand Rapids Office

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Kenneth W. Vermeulen as partner in the firm’s Real Estate department in Grand Rapids. Honigman announced last month it is expanding into Grand Rapids, opening its seventh office there.

Vermeulen is a member of both the Leasing and Environmental practice groups and will focus his practice on commercial leasing, zoning, state and federal cleanups and acquisition and divestiture due diligence. He is widely published on real estate and environmental law matters and is named in the 2017 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for his work in environmental law.

Vermeulen earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and has a bachelor’s degree in business from Calvin College. He previously practiced at Barnes & Thornburg LLP.
