Honigman Expands Chicago Office with Move to 155 North Wacker Drive

Press Release

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP is moving its Chicago office to 155 North Wacker Drive, one of the city’s most bustling areas of downtown development. The move, which nearly doubles the capacity for lawyers, is in response to the continued growth of Honigman’s private equity, tax, life sciences and litigation practices in Chicago.

“Since opening our doors in Chicago in the summer of 2015, we’ve been strategically building our team and growing our presence in the city,” said David Foltyn, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Honigman. “This new office space allows us to continue our plan for growth and better serve our current and future clients in Chicago, Michigan and other major markets throughout the U.S.”

This North Wacker Drive location is in the heart of a thriving corridor that has experienced significant commercial development in recent years. Honigman will occupy the entire 31st floor of the Class A building effective December 1, 2017.

“The location, design and increased office count will enhance our ability to continue to attract top talent,” said Jason M. Rosenthal, Honigman’s Chicago office managing partner. Recent lateral hires include Simeon Papacostas, partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation practice, and Nathan Wilda, partner in the Private Equity practice, both of whom spent nearly a decade with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and Amanda M.H. Wolfman, a partner in the Complex Commercial Litigation practice, who previously practiced at Novack and Macey LLP and Jones Day.

A CBRE team including Nancy Pacher, Dave Mahoney and Jon Milonas advised on the transaction for Honigman. The 155 North Wacker Drive building is owned by The John Buck Company.
