Rachel Hofstatter joins Honigman Intellectual Property Department
Honigman LLP is pleased to announce Rachel Hofstatter has joined its Intellectual Property Department as a partner in the firm’s new Washington, DC office. Hofstatter dedicates her practice to trademark and copyright counseling for clients from all industries. She prosecutes and manages trademark portfolios worldwide, designs and implements filing and enforcement strategies, and handles IP transactions including due diligence and licensing. Her litigation experience includes the prosecution and defense of trademark, trade dress, copyright and patent infringements, unfair competition, domain name disputes, trademark oppositions and cancellations, and false advertising claims.

Hofstatter has been recognized in publications such as the World Trademark Review 1000, The Legal 500, Intellectual Property: Trademarks: Non-Contentious, and as a “Rising Star” in Intellectual Property, Super Lawyers Washington, DC. Her devotion to her clients has helped her build a robust trademark and copyright practice, and her clients appreciate both her effectiveness and efficiency.
Hofstatter joins the Honigman team from Steptoe & Johnson LLP, having served clients in the trademark and copyright field for more than 15 years. She earned her J.D., with highest honors, from The George Washington University Law School and her B.A., with honors and with highest distinction, from The Pennsylvania State University.
