Honigman Earns Mansfield 6.0 Certification

Honigman is proud to announce that the firm has achieved Mansfield 6.0 Certification for 2022-2023. Honigman is among more than 240 leading law firms that participated in this year’s Mansfield 6.0 Certification process.

Mansfield Certification, awarded by Diversity Lab, is a structured certification process designed to ensure all talent at participating law firms has a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership. The certification process measures the structural changes and steps participating law firms have taken over the past year to ensure paths to leadership – including lateral hiring, client pitch teams, promotions, appointments, and more – are open and transparent to all qualified lawyers.

To achieve Mansfield Certification, firms must implement a behavioral science and data-driven approach to help increase diversity in leadership. Certified firms are required to consider at least 30% historically underrepresented lawyers, including women lawyers, underrepresented racial and ethnic lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers and lawyers with disabilities when appointing to leadership roles and promoting to equity partnership. In addition, certified firms are required to enhance transparency related to leadership roles, advancement processes and compensation policies.
