Honigman Adds Antitrust Partner Nathan Richardson in Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON – Honigman LLP announced today that it is adding Nathan “Nate” Richardson as a partner in Washington, D.C., further expanding its Litigation Department on the heels of Valerie Stacey arrival in Detroit in October. Richardson, who joins the firm from Dechert, will be part of the Business Litigation Practice Group.
Richardson focuses his practice on civil antitrust litigation, government investigations, and high-stakes disputes. He represents a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies in the financial services, government, and life sciences sectors. With extensive experience in both domestic and international jurisdictions, Richardson skillfully navigates complex commercial, antitrust, tort, securities, and contract claims, as well as regulatory matters involving the Federal Trade Commission, including Section 6(b) studies.
“Nate’s litigation prowess and ability to work through complex disputes make him an excellent addition to our growing team of litigators,” said J. Michael Huget, chair of Honigman’s Litigation Department. “His work ethic and attention to detail, qualities needed to be both a great lawyer and reliable serviceman, is commendable and we are excited to see the immediate impact he will have in both our D.C. office and litigation practice.”
Richardson provides strategic counsel throughout all phases of litigation, from drafting pleadings and discovery requests to managing large-scale discovery efforts. He is adept at preparing fact and expert witnesses for depositions and trial testimony, crafting compelling advocacy white papers, and conducting depositions that shape favorable case outcomes. His experience includes developing substantive motions and litigation strategies that efficiently resolve even the most challenging disputes.
Richardson earned a J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School in 2016 and a B.S. from The United States Air Force Academy in 2006. He served as an officer in the U.S. Army before attending law school. Richardson started his legal career at Cahill Gordon & Reindel, where he represented clients in complex commercial, antitrust, securities, contract, and other litigation matters.
