Honigman Welcomes Kirkland Litigator Michael Kraft to its Growing Chicago Litigation Team

CHICAGO - Honigman LLP announced today that Michael Kraft joined the firm’s Litigation Department and Privacy, Products, and Class Actions Practice Group in its Chicago office. He comes to Honigman after nearly five years with Kirkland & Ellis.

Our Chicago team has seen significant growth in products liability and complex class action matters, and Mike’s skillset will further strengthen our presence in the market,” said J. Michael Huget, chair of Honigman’s Litigation Department. “His extensive experience handling sophisticated, high-stakes litigation will be a valuable asset to our practice.”

Kraft focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He has represented clients across a broad range of industries in matters including high-stakes products liability, breach of contract, private equity and shareholder disputes, corporate restructuring, fraud, trade secrets, and data privacy. Kraft also has experience conducting internal investigations and guiding companies through government enforcement actions and other major corporate events.

Kraft earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his B.A. from Yale University.
