Honigman elects four new partners
Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has elected four new partners in the firm effective January 1, 2013. Honigman’s new partners are listed below.
Daniel N. Adams practices in the Litigation Department and is located in the firm’s Detroit office. He represents clients in a wide variety of commercial and bankruptcy-related disputes in state and federal courts in issues related to time-sensitive supply chain litigation, including breach-of-contract litigation, temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunction proceedings and lien disputes. Adams represents debtors, creditors' committees, customers, suppliers and lenders in commercial bankruptcy and reorganization proceedings, financial restructurings and liquidations. He earned a J.D., with honors, from Emory University School of Law and a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan.
Meghan N. Covino practices in the Business Immigration Practice Group and is located in the firm’s Detroit office. She focuses on employment-based immigration representing national and international companies in obtaining authorization for employees to work temporarily and permanently in the United States. Covino earned a J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. in French and political science from the University of Michigan.
Jennifer M. Hetu practices in the Intellectual Property Department and is located in the firm’s Oakland County office. She advises clients on a wide range of trademark matters in the U.S. and international markets, including trademark searching and clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and e-Commerce. Hetu earned a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a B.A., cum laude, in political science from Western Michigan University.
Crescent A. Moran practices in the Corporate Department and is located in the firm’s Detroit office. She focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, advising clients regarding equity compensation, securities law compliance, corporate governance, and the design, establishment, operation, qualification and termination of retirement and welfare benefit programs. Moran earned a J.D., cum laude, from Western New England University School of Law and an LL.M. in taxation and a certificate in employee benefits from Georgetown University Law Center.
