Sarah G. Deson-Fried joins Honigman’s Real Estate Department
Sarah G. Deson-Fried has joined Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP as a partner in its Real Estate Department. Since being admitted to practice more than 25 years ago, she has held a variety of legal positions, both at law firms and in house, as well as a number of business operational positions. Deson-Fried is located in the firm’s Oakland County office.
She advises clients regarding real estate transactions on a national basis, representing buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, borrowers, lender, developers, franchisors and franchisees. Her practice includes leasing, finance, office, industrial, retail, residential and multifamily housing matters. Deson-Fried is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association’s Real Estate Subcommittee, a member of the Women’s Forum of Michigan and a Women of Tomorrow mentor and a Hart2Hart Detroit board member.
She earned a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Deson-Fried is admitted to practice in Michigan and Colorado. She also has a real estate license in Michigan.
She joins Honigman from Schiff Hardin, LLP in Ann Arbor.
