Fernando Alberdi, Ph.D. joins Honigman’s Intellectual Property And Technology Practice Group

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP (Honigman) is pleased to announce that Fernando Alberdi, Ph.D. joins the firm as an attorney in the Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group, which is part of its Corporate and Securities Department. He will be located in the firm’s Ann Arbor, Michigan, office.

Alberdi concentrates his practice on patent preparation and prosecution in life science, chemical, biopharmaceutical and biotechnological arts. He also assists clients in a wide range of intellectual property matters .

He received a J.D. from the Michigan State University College of Law, magna cum laude. He earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry and immunology and a B.S. in biotechnology from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology located in Melbourne, Australia. Alberdi is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

He comes to Honigman from Harness, Dickey & Pierce in Troy.
