Five Honigman Attorneys Named In 2008 Edition of 'Who's Who Legal'
Detroit-based business law firm Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP (Honigman) announced today that five of its partners were named in the 2008 edition of Who’s Who Legal: The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers. The attorneys, and the area of practice they were named in, are as follows:
• Cyril Moscow, Corporate Governance
• Alan M. Valade, Corporate Tax
• Joseph M. Polito, Environmental
• Richard J. Burstein, Real Estate
• Lawrence D. McLaughlin, Real Estate
Who’s Who Legal: The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, published by London-based Law Business Research, conducts interviews with private practice attorneys and general counsel to determine who is nominated for entry into Who’s Who Legal. The nominees are then vetted by collating data gathered from questionnaires to attorneys in their respective fields as well as legal and financial media reports in addition to feedback from corporate counsel. Telephone and face-to-face interviews are then conducted to allow the editors to refine the listing to a selection of between 200 and 600 lawyers who, by the editors’ assessment, are considered “pre-eminent” lawyers in the field.
Who’s Who Legal chooses legal practitioners in 29 different areas of business law from all 50 states and more than 100 national jurisdictions throughout the world.
