Honigman’s Oakland County office moves to Pinehurst Office Center

On August 1, 2011, Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP’s (Honigman) 52 professionals and 33 administrative staff members will welcome clients and colleagues to its new Oakland County offices in the Pinehurst Office Center at 39400 Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills. The firm is leasing approximately 37,000 square feet on the first and second floors of the office building, which also serves as the headquarters for Kojaian Management Corporation, developer of the Pinehurst Office Center. Honigman is headquartered in Detroit.

• A client service center designed to provide flexible space to support client needs, including an auditorium accommodating approximately 90 people, board-type rooms, small conference rooms, a business center and visiting executive offices; 
• A functional design that supports the work flow and focuses on the practice areas at this office, which include Real Estate, Intellectual Property (IP), Trusts & Estates, Litigation, Corporate and Tax); and 
• A design that is flexible for current and future uses.

The office can now accommodate nearly 100 people and Honigman will have an option to expand further in the Pinehurst Office Center as the firm continues to grow its Oakland County practice. The firm’s Oakland County office has experienced significant growth over the past year with an increase of 28 percent in its number of professionals. Honigman anticipates continued growth, particularly in its IP practice, which has nearly doubled in the last 12 months.
