Honigman Adds Real Estate Partner in Chicago
Honigman LLP is pleased to announce that Larry Woodard has joined the firm as partner in the Chicago office. He joins the firm’s Real Estate department.
Woodard focuses his practice on real estate law, representing Fortune 500 companies, developers, regional and national banks, institutional investors, special servicers, institutions of higher education, units of local government, REITs, contractors, and others in a variety of real estate transactions across all asset classes.
Woodard joins Honigman from Miller Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C., where he was a shareholder. He earned his J.D./LL.M from The John Marshall Law School where he focused on real estate, and he received his B.A. from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign. Woodard also has taught as an adjunct professor at The John Marshall Law School and is a licensed real estate broker and real estate brokerage continuing education instructor.
Honigman’s Real Estate department is nationally prominent with a deep bench of attorneys acknowledged as leaders in their areas of practice. In 2019, Honigman’s Real Estate practice earned a Band 1 ranking in Michigan from Chambers USA: American’s Leading Lawyers for Business.
