Honigman’s Swedlow Elected to AIPLA Board, Recognized by Crain’s Detroit
Honigman partner Bea Swedlow was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA). The AIPLA is a national bar association with members from law firms, companies, and institutions involved in the practice of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and other fields of intellectual property law. Swedlow previously served the AIPLA as Chair of the Women in IP Law Committee.
Swedlow was also recently named to Crain’s Detroit Business “2019 Notable Women in the Law.” She was selected based on her career accomplishments, track record of success, community contributions, and mentoring efforts.
An experienced litigator who represents clients in significant intellectual property matters, Swedlow focuses her practice on patent, copyright, and trademark law.
Swedlow is a member of Honigman’s Board of Directors and is Co-Leader of the Intellectual Property Litigation practice group. She also serves as Co-Managing Partner for the firm’s Ann Arbor office.
