Overview
Angie Johnson Reier focuses her practice on U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, providing a holistic strategy comprised of legal and business support throughout the deal lifecycle. Her extensive experience managing a diverse transaction pipeline includes complex carveout divestitures and mid-market standalone acquisitions with deal values ranging upwards of $1 billion. Angie oversees due diligence, conducts purchase agreement negotiations, evaluates for regulatory compliance, and advises on integration or separation execution.
Angie also manages complex global contracts and serves as an advisor to senior executives on critical issues related to all commercial strategic transactions. She has led strategic initiatives such as long-term dealer arrangements, start-up investments, and joint ventures and has effectively negotiated domestic and international agreements related to sales, purchases, royalties, and distribution. Prior to joining the firm, Angie served as associate general counsel and senior counsel at three prominent national and global corporations.
