Emily E. Garrison

Emily Garrison is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on insurance recovery and has significant experience handling complex coverage disputes through arbitration and litigation. She has also participated in numerous out-of-court negotiations, in mediation or otherwise, that have led to significant recoveries for corporate policyholders.

Emily represents clients across a broad range of industries, including major banking and financial institutions, heavy equipment manufacturers, oil and gas exploration, global hospitality services, commercial real estate, and shipping services.

She provides counsel to corporate policyholders in disputes concerning, among other things, commercial general liability, directors & officers liability, cyber liability, professional liability, employment practices liability, first party property damage and environmental liabilities. 

Additionally, Emily advises public and private companies on structuring, placing and renewing complex insurance coverage programs.

• Represented manufacturer in coverage litigation concerning a significant property damage claim.
• Counseled individual directors and officers on coverage for claims brought under California Insurance Frauds Prevention Act.
