Overview

Jack Carver is a corporate attorney with a broad range of transactional experience and a practical, solutions-orientated approach informed by his time as General Counsel of a technology company. As a member of the Transactions and Counseling practice group, Jack specializes in significant corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and venture capital financings, with a focus on transactions with a critical technology or healthcare related component.

Jack also has extensive experience with technology transactions, including corporate and brand partnerships; strategic alliances; the intellectual property and technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions; structuring and negotiating licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, cloud services agreements, enterprise resource planning (ERP) system agreements, and other technology-driven commercial agreements; and issues relating to the commercialization of intellectual property and data assets.

Jack is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for both United States and European law (CIPP/US and CIPP/E) as designated by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and regularly counsels clients on compliance with domestic and international data privacy laws and regulations.
