Jeffrey Chelstrom is an intellectual property attorney with more than 15 years of experience assisting clients in patent preparation and prosecution, managing worldwide patent portfolios, and counseling clients on patentability and freedom-to-operate issues. He is well versed in the fields of food science, chemistry, adhesives, polymers, laminates, films, petroleum, and lubricants.

Jeff counsels clients in chemical and mechanical patent applications. He represents clients in appeals before the United States Patent and Trademark Office Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

  • Prosecuted a patent relating to beverage concentrates for a Fortune 500 food company
  • Advised a polymer company on freedom to operate involving import and export provisions of the U.S. Patent Code
