He also represents national and regional real estate owners, operators, and developers of commercial, hotel, office, and industrial properties, as well as lenders, contractors, and investors. Jonathan is a frequent speaker on various real estate and financing-related topics before trade and professional real estate organizations.
- Possesses over 30 years of experience handling numerous aspects of legal services, including multistate acquisitions, institutional financing and equity capitalization, syndications, development, and new construction, including land-use and zoning matters
- Possesses particular experience in historic and low-income tax credits, tax increment and bond financing, and related transactions and programs
- Provides counsel in real estate dispute resolution and litigation support related to controversies among private parties and government agencies
- Holds national recognition for skills in Government Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) portfolio and capital markets execution financing

- Led and participated in the development of some of the largest high-rise multi-use redevelopments in the Midwest, involving complex financing and capital structures
- Worked out numerous portfolios involving commercial and industrial properties with conduit, bank, and insurance company financing
- Structured and closed many major, multi-use public-private projects involving bond financing and other enhancements
