Overview

Pat is an experienced real estate attorney who focuses his practice on construction transactions and litigation matters. He has broad experience providing strategic counsel to a wide range of owners, developers, general contractors and subcontractors pertaining to construction contract drafting and negotiation, as well as project delivery methods and claim resolution. His practice is focused on commercial and residential developments, data centers and bitcoin mining facilities and energy and infrastructure projects.

Pat’s experience includes negotiating, preparing and reviewing EPC agreements, design-build and construction contracts, master service agreements, installation contracts and other various project-related documents. He also has experience managing potential commercial litigation claims throughout the course of development projects, working directly with owner and clients to resolve potential claims relating to delay, additional compensation, extensions of time, among others.

Prior to his legal career, Pat was a structural engineer with multiple global engineering firms, focused on power industry projects including overseeing design suitability and near-zero carbon emission projects in Dubai, UAE and the design of nuclear reactor building components for the South Texas Project in Bay City, Texas.
