Overview
Rana Roumayah is a labor and employment attorney who focuses her practice on anticipating and evaluating legal issues around labor and employment matters. Her experience includes case analysis, strategic planning, negotiations and compliance.
Prior to joining Honigman, Rana was an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board. In that role she provided guidance to human resources representatives, labor representatives and employees on various issues of employment and labor law, including Title VII, wage disputes, collective bargaining and unfair labor practices. She worked directly with corporate leaders, including those in the automotive field and other manufacturing industries, providing interpretation of laws, work rules and regulations for employers and labor unions, as well as direction on how to remain in compliance.
She is skilled in resolving pre-litigation disputes between employers and labor unions having negotiated over 100 pre-litigation settlement agreements. In addition, Rana is an experienced trainer on current legal developments in labor law, and is a resource for human resources representatives and labor representatives.
