Four Honigman partners earn recognition as Client Service All-Stars
Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP is pleased to announce that four of its partners, Paula E. Litt, Robert J. Palmersheim, J. Adam Rothstein and Richard S. Soble, have been recognized as BTI Client Service All-Stars for 2016. To earn a place on this list, an individual attorney must be singled out by a corporate counsel for client service that exceeds all other attorneys used by the organization. The list is the result of nearly 320 in-depth, independent interviews with legal service decision makers conducted by BTI, a leading provider of strategic research to the legal community. Only 312 attorneys in the United States have been designated as All-Stars for 2016.
Paula E. Litt, located in Honigman’s Chicago, Illinois, office, is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and leader of its Insurance Recovery and Advisory Practice Group. She advises clients regarding legal strategies in bringing, defending or avoiding litigation. Litt handles a full range of business disputes, including complex contract disputes, business torts and professional liability. In addition, she assists companies in securing insurance coverage for underlying claims, including legal malpractice, wrongful death, product liability, directors and officers liability, and first-party property damage. Litt earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and a B.S., summa cum laude, from Ohio State University.
Robert J. Palmersheim, located in Honigman’s Chicago, Illinois, office, is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. His national practice focuses on complex business litigation with a particular emphasis on antitrust, intellectual property, fraud, products liability and professional liability. Palmersheim has represented Fortune 500 corporations, middle market companies and some of the world’s largest law firms. He tries cases and argues appeals in state and federal courts, as well as arbitrates cases before the American Arbitration Association, FINRA, and the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution. Palmersheim earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law and is a member of the Order of the Coif. He received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
J. Adam Rothstein, located in Honigman’s Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, office, is a partner in and vice chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department. He also is leader of Honigman’s practice groups for retail and hospitality and lodging. In Rothstein’s national practice, he advises clients located throughout the United States engaging in transactions from coast to coast. He represents a wide range of real estate owners, operators and users in various real estate and other business transactions. Rothstein’s clients include shopping center, hotel, multifamily, self-storage and office building owners and operators, including publicly traded real estate investment trusts, as well as some of the largest privately owned real estate operators in the United States. He earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Michigan.
Richard S. Soble, located in the firm’s Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, office, is a partner in the firm’s Tax Practice Group. He has more than 30 years of experience in structuring business ventures to accomplish clients' business goals and representing their interests in tax adjudications, audits and appeals. Soble focuses his practice on advising individuals and businesses on a vast range of federal income tax issues and counsels them in planning to minimize their taxation on day-to-day commercial operations and in transactions. He earned a J.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan.
